The Climate-Smart Livestock Production Project supports smallholder livestock farmers to improve livestock productivity and resilience to climate shocks. Working with farmer cooperatives and groups, the project promotes improved pasture management, fodder conservation, and climate-smart water harvesting. It integrates community-based animal health services through trained para-vets as community extension workers to reduce livestock disease and mortality.
